A Spring Garden Wedding — Georgia & Andrew

Some couples want quiet and intimate. Some couples want to celebrate until their feet hurt and their cheeks ache from smiling.

Georgia and Andrew wanted both.

Fifty of their favourite people. A property in full spring bloom. And a day that had their fingerprints all over it - from the first petal to the last song.

Georgia and Andrew are cops from Sydney. They know how to read a room, hold a crowd and keep a party moving. And on a bright spring morning at Leaves & Fishes, they did exactly that.

The ceremony took place in the garden, surrounded by the kind of blooms that only spring can produce - lush, generous, unruly in the best possible way. Guests gathered on the lawn as Georgia made her way down the aisle, accompanied by their two sausage dogs, dressed for the occasion in matching wedding suits and completely unbothered by the crowd.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved into the rainforest walk for cocktail hour - where the brew bike was already waiting. Guests wandered beneath the tropical canopy, cold drinks in hand, the afternoon light filtering through the palms. The kind of cocktail hour where nobody wants it to end.

But dinner in The Assembly was waiting, and it did not disappoint. Long tables, warm light, and a DJ who understood the assignment. The dancing started early and finished late, the way it always does when the guest list is full of people who actually know each other.

The personal touches were everywhere. A vodka cruiser tower - a nod to who Georgia and Andrew actually are, unapologetically - became one of the most photographed moments of the night. A reminder that the best weddings aren’t the most formal ones. They’re the ones that feel most like you.

As two busy people with demanding careers, Georgia and Andrew chose our all-inclusive package so that every detail - the florals, the catering, the photography, the styling, was handled before they arrived. They added the brew bike and a DJ to make it unmistakably theirs, and showed up on the day with nothing to do but enjoy every single minute of it.

Which, from all accounts, they absolutely did.
